Electroless Boron Coating

BEMATEK's nickel-boron coating, BoraPlate, was developed specifically for the firearms and defense industry. Our Nickel-Boron coating has high hardness and wear resistance, so coated parts have a longer service life and require less maintenance.

Nickel-Boron coating greatly improves heat dissipation, so coated products run cooler than untreated, conventionally coated parts.

Thanks to the homogeneity of the coating, it is easier to obtain the desired coating thickness at every point. Therefore, for parts with complexly shaped surfaces (such as rifled barrels), the BoraPlate coating is suitable.
